The large, elongated fruits have a characteristic horn-shaped and ripen from light to light green to a beautiful reddish color. With approximately 500–1,000 SHU Beaver Dam is only mildly spicy: enough to provide a pleasant warm accent, without the sharpness overwhelming the flavor.
