🌶️ Aji Chombo - The fiery pride of Panama

The Aji Chombo is a traditional Capsicum chinense-variety that plays an important role in the Panamanian cuisine. This pepper is very similar to the Habanero in heat and character, but has its own distinct flavor that makes it unique.

The fruits ripen from green to bright red, are medium-sized and slightly more elongated in shape than the classic Habanero. With a heat from 100,000 to 350,000 SHU this is a serious chili, but at the same time a beloved flavoring in Caribbean and Latin American cuisine.
