This variety stands out not only for its spicy fruits, but above all for its <strong>characteristic, hairy leaf and the equally lightly hairy stems<\/strong>. This gives the plant a beautiful grey-green and almost velvety appearance.<\/p>\n<p>The plant grows quite slender and branches well. The <strong>upright fruits<\/strong> appear dark green first and color during ripening through a striking <strong>almost black color<\/strong> eventually to bright red. As a result, fruits of different colors can be present on a single plant at the same time, which also makes the Acrata particularly attractive as an ornamental plant.<\/p>\n<p>The fruits are elongated and slender and become about <strong>5 to 8 cm long<\/strong>. The Acrata is known as a fairly hot pepper, with a heat level of approximately <strong>20,000 to 40,000 SHU<\/strong>.
