🌶️ Mulato Isleno - The dark Mexican seasoning
The Mulato Isleno is a traditional Capsicum annuum from Mexico and a close relative of the poblano. What makes this variety so special is its maturation to a deep chocolate brown color and the unique flavor nuances of chocolate, licorice, cherry and tobacco. With its mild sharpness, it is ideal for those seeking rich flavors without excessive heat.
The fruits are large (up to 15 cm), firm and shine beautifully dark brown when fully ripe. A true classic in Mexican cuisine!
